Defiro Health addresses patient monitoring using device data. Its experience has two sides: the patient app and the doctor’s workspace.
The challenge
The project needed to connect device readings with mobile apps and the information viewed by doctors. Hardware integration and data presentation form one workflow.

Solution and implementation
UP2DATE built native iOS and Android apps and a web platform for doctors.
The apps use BLE to connect devices. The documented implementation includes HealthKit and Google Fit integrations. Data is available in the dedicated monitoring platform for doctors.
Delivered outcome
The solution connects the device, patient app and doctor’s interface. Readings can be consulted within the same monitoring system.
What to take away
For a connected-device product, treat capture, transmission and access as one workflow. Data availability and clinical interpretation are distinct responsibilities.
