The challenge
Romania's new Electronic ID card (CEI) needed software that any identity-checking business — notaries, banks, offices — could embed to read the card, validate it cryptographically, capture a signature and run check-in, across desktop, mobile and web, while staying eIDAS- and GDPR-compliant.
What we did
We built eID România as a suite: native SDKs for Windows, iOS and Android plus a web platform, sharing one cryptographic core for reading the chip, validating it, signing and check-in. The mobile apps bring full card verification to phones and tablets in the field, while the web platform and desktop SDK cover office workflows.
